The Briel espresso machine is equipped with patented Crema Master filters for ground coffee or pods and an AquaStop No-Drip system that prevents dripping and the need to "bleed" the machine of any remaining water. There's a filter holder and filter basket for ground coffee and a special filter holder for coffee serving pods. Two thermostats regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process for the pump with a third "safety" thermostat located on the pump in the event of continuous use. A Turbo Jet frother is combined with the Thermo Block technology (a Briel exclusive) to instantly produce plentiful dry steam for a thick milk froth for a cappuccino or latte. Other features of the Briel espresso machine are "OK" light signals that let you know when the machine is ready for brewing and frothing, push button switches, two brass filter holders (one for ground coffee and one for pods), a built-in coffee tamper, a removable 1.8-liter water reservoir (with water level indicator) that fills from the back, and a removable overflow tray for easy cleanup.
